About 5 miles south of Glennallen on the Richardson Highway, across the Tazlina River and about a half mile west on a good solid trail is where you will find this thick wooded property.
Apr. a 1¼ miles after you cross the Tazlina Bridge you go up a hill and you will see on the right side a driveway, go about 200' past the driveway and you will see on the right side a yellow traffic school bus stop sign and it is just a few feet past that where the access starts. About a 100' feet in you will see on the right side a private chained driveway. Do not go in there, but continue straight in about another couple hundred feet or so and you will see on the right side a snowmobile trail going back along the access easement (section line). One can improve that easement to make it passable for ATV's, 4 wheel drive P/U, etc.
The main cabin, apr. 25' x 25', is built to last from big timbers (8" x 12") on a foundation of steel pilings driven into the ground. The inside needs to be finished to the Buyer's taste.
The 2nd cabin is of frame construction, apr. 16' X 16', and is unfinished inside. There is an outhouse and another small building (see photos).
If you are a handyman, this could be your dream place. The location is just far enough from the highway and tucked away so you feel the remoteness of the area and yet you are close to all the conveniences of the nearby community of Glennallen; with schools, stores, clinics, banks, etc.
Excellent fishing and hunting throughout this area.
This is about a 4 hour drive northeast of Anchorage and a hour and a half to Valdez. You have Wrangell St. Elias and its towering peaks to the east and the Chugach Mt. Range to the south.
A great price if you don't mind a little fix up work and seclusion.
