Stony River - Can Creek / Lake Area  REDUCED

I believe my last Guided hunt was in 2011. I guided one hunter and we took a 6 foot black bear.  See Attached Picture.   I have been mainly working on upgrading the cabins since then and just completed putting siding on all the cabins this summer and replaced Decking with all treated lumber instead of painted lumber. See pictures.

I have spent some time hunting around out there and have seen several large Moose that are shooters, black bear and Wolves and Grizzly bears.  2 years ago I hunted with a couple of my friends.  We saw over 8 bulls and Two of my friends had opportunities to take moose  and missed!  1 was 60 inch Plus and one was 50 inch +. We did take a 6' Black bear.  Last year I went out and took a 50 inch bull, not much for picture taking but there is a picture of the rack.  I am not a trophy hunter as much as I am a meat hunter but 50 is the legal limit so when I see one that is legal  I take it.

Last year my brother and I went out to camp to do some work we took 3 days to walk the 4 wheeler trail and just called moose.  During that time we called in 4 different moose with in 50 yards and one with in feet.  All were sub legal young and one looked to be an old bull on the way down.

We have not had any caribou at the base camp for several years as the heard changed its migration pattern.  They seem to be around my cabins on the State lease land.  If he is interested in taking both properties he would have hunting and cabins with in 35 miles of each other and would have caribou in the mix of all the other animals.
