Shell Lake is one of the nicer, scenic lakes in the area, with good Moose hunting and of course, there are bears; both Black and Brown.  But best of all, it is great for Fishing.

And keep in mind, the Iditarod Sled Dog Race goes by there, just a short distance to the south.

But Shell Lake is a place where there is always something going on.  There is a well known lodge that caters to snowmachiners as well as pilots on a year round basis and it’s always a good spot to catch up with the latest information over a “Cold One”.

This exceptionally large parcel has almost 700’ of lake frontage and would make a “Great” place to build your dream cabin.

Shell Lake is only about a 45 minute flight from Anchorage and in the winter time there is a well marked snowmobile trail to Shell Lake; up the Yentna River to Skwentna and from there to Shell Lake.

If you are looking for a lake front parcel, you must give this one a big consideration.  It is unheard of to find a big parcel like this one on a large lake with all the amenities one hopes to find in the wild for this Low, Low price for only $44,000.-

Check around and see for yourself what we mean.  We have seen 5 or 6 acre parcels going for that much or more.  But there is a caveat, the retired out of state owner needs cash, as at their age they want to spend their money while they still can.
