    In addition to the Home, the owner has restored the "Old Trapper Cabin", which makes a wonderful place for visitors to spend a night.  And there is more….  The Sauna Building, the large Shed/Work Shop, plus if every thing fails, the "Old Outhouse".

    The owner had a well drilled at great expense (see detailed well log) and to make the place environmentally friendly, the owner installed a Wind Generator with an inverter panel.  If everything fails there is a generator and to play it safe, he also has propane lights.

    The couple has lived there many years, growing vegetables and having beautiful flowers and a nice manicured lawn.

    For the hunter, the owner has a small shooting range and has cut several pioneer trails up the mountain for the big Moose or reclusive Dahl Sheep.

    This may not be the lifestyle for everyone, but if you want to be off the grid, this could be life in paradise, as there are not too many places where you may see a Wolverine coming through the yard or a lone Caribou.  You may also see Wolves as they use the frozen river for their traveling corridor.

    How many places can boast that there are literally millions of acres of unspoiled wilderness behind them (the Glacier Capped Peaks of the Chugach Mt. Range).

    And yet, you are only 45 minutes away from shopping at a Fred Meyer store or Carrs (Safeway), fine eateries, churches and a lot more and it all can be found in Palmer.
