Safari Lake – Cabin

ASLS 73-45, Tract G  -  5 acres
Apr. GPS coordinates:  Lat. 62° 27' 28.73" N and Long. 150° 34' 16.91" W -  Datum:  NAD27

A large Cabin, well taken care of, on Safari Lake where it is impossible to find a private lot.  Of course, the View from this location is breathtaking.  Just imagine you are only about 10 miles from Mt. McKinley, which absolutely towers over the whole area.

Yes, you are in one of the "Best" snowmobile areas in God's country!  You have the famous Iron Dog Racer and winner next door, Todd Palin.  And of course, you have miles and miles of endless riding, be it on well maintained trails or into some challenging back country of the foothills of McKinley and the Alaska Range.

Here you can see some magnificent Northern Lights with the Alaska Range as a backdrop.

It is only a short ride from a dedicated parking lot on Petersville Road to the cabin.  Of course in the summertime the lake can be reached by ATV/Argo, etc.  It will take a little bit longer then in the winter by snowmobile, but it is well worth the extra time since you would be viewing the magnificent scenery of the glacier peaked Alaska Range.

By the way the actual border of McKinley Park is just a few miles to the north and it is this area what surpasses any view you can get from taking a bus into McKinley Park. And of course, here you will avoid the crowds.

The area also offers some well known "watering holes" combined with great food.  And best of all, it is only about a 3 hour drive north from Anchorage to the Trail Head/Parking lot.

Of course if hunting is in your blood there has been some nice Moose and Bear, both black and brown, that came out of this area.

    The Price is only:  $150,000.-
    Seller prefers cash.
