About 30 miles due west as the crow flies you will find this exceptional large parcel on the Kantishna River channel.
This parcel can be reached by jet boat going from Nenana downstream until you hit the Kantishna River along the left riverbank. And from there about 25 river miles up the Kantishna River. On your journey there will be many times McKinley will offer a breathtaking view!
In the winter, which may be the best time to bring building materials to your site, it would be about a good 30-mile snowmobile trip.
There will be some great Grayling fishing along the small tributaries of the Kantishna River and with some luck you may even catch some trophy size Pike. But the main attraction is Hunting as this area offers some trophy size Moose – Bear – Caribou and Wolf.
And of course, in the wintertime you will have grandiose displays of the Northern Lights with the majestic Alaska Range and McKinley in the background.
