Far out, if that is where you want to be, is where this property is. It is located on the Kuskokwim River, 160 acres with apr. a "Half Mile of River Frontage", and about 30 miles downstream from Sleetmute.
Or if you are somewhat familiar with the area, between Georgetown and Crooked Creek. Keep in mind these are just small settlements with no services available other then Sleetmute which has a place to buy gas and some groceries.
You would have river access to Bethel or if you have a float or ski plane it would be about a good two hour flight due west from Anchorage.
This area has some old mining history and maybe if you are lucky enough and scratch around in the dirt you might find a nugget or two. One never knows. There are big trees on the property for your building project and the Kuskokwim River supports a large Salmon run of all Species plus White Fish – monster Pike and Sheefish, a rare species also called "Tarpon of the North".
Game wise, you have every animal Alaska is famous for around you; Moose – Caribou – Bear – Wolves, etc.
Yes, if you are tough enough to totally live off the grid, this could be the "Right" place for you. So check it out!
