A Hunter’s Or Fisherman’s heart starts pounding when you mention the Holitna River. This is an area far away from the population centers of Anchorage and Fairbanks and therefore game is still plentiful and you may just bag your “Trophy” right there. Be it Moose, Bear, or the elusive Wolf.
For your Fishermen, this area is well known for its “Great” Shefish fishery, also called “The Tarpon of the North”. Beautiful, shiny silver fish which can get up to 40 lbs. or more. And of course, you have a fantastic King Salmon and Silver Salmon fishery and all that in an unspoiled wilderness setting. The Holitna and Hoholitna are navigable by boat (jet boat preferred).
This is an outstanding combination of two parcels; with the one parcel giving you guaranteed river access, a place to store your boat, etc. and from there it is about a mile on a dirt trail to the 25 acres, which are on top of a hill giving an excellent overview over the whole, huge valley.
Access to this remote property (and for those of you who don’t understand “Remote”, this is about 250 miles from Anchorage out in the middle of nowhere) would be by your own airplane, skis or floats and land in the apr. 1 mile long lake close to the 25 acre parcel. Or one may be able to use a small Cub strip along the lake. Conditions unknown.
Just keep in mind, it is not easy or cheap to get out there considering that the charter rate for an airplane is around $500.- an hour, but it would sure be well worth it if you want something “Special”.
The seller will absolutely NOT sell these parcels separately!
The Price for all of this is only $75,000.- Cash preferred,
with the seller having by far more invested in it than this.
As they say, “His loss, Your gain”.
