Every once in awhile we seem to be fortunate enough to get some real estate for sale along the Denali Highway.

 Over the 40 years in remote property sales, we sold about a dozen properties along this highway.  Without a doubt, it is the most sought after stretch of road for private property in the whole state.

The reason for this is that there is very little private land and when it becomes available it usually gets snaped up in a hurry.

The beauty of this stretch of road is absolutely breathtaking with Emerald Green Fauna and Glacier Capped Mountains, the Midnight Sun or the Northern Lights and of course, the Alaska Wildlife with all the major animals throughout this area.

The highway is open from Spring to Fall and in the winter, it is one of the most popular snowmobile playgrounds the state has to offer.

One place we sold many, many years ago developed from a small log cabin into a huge summer / winter attraction (Alpine Inn).  Most locals will know this place and if you don't you owe it to yourself to plan a visit.

With that said, the Tangle River Inn is open for business and all it needs for this Estate Sale to settle, is an enterprising new owner or it may even be one of the big tourist companies buying it in order to bring their buses to this facility as there is plenty of parking and providing an unforgettable experience for the Alaska traveler.

The Lodge comes with a fully equipped Kitchen, Bar (full liquor license) and of course, rooms and cabin rentals.  Please don't ask for any operating statements as the original owner passed away quite a few years ago and the place has been sitting empty due to Estate issues.  And only last year one of the heirs opened the lodge on a limited basis to keep the liquor license active and the facility going.
