This lake is one of the most popular lakes in this area.  Here ice fishermen come from far and wide to catch some of those trophy size Burbots.

There is a nice winter trail from Tolsona Lake Lodge, about 20 miles to the South or from Lake Louise to the West.

Summer access is marginal at best. There is air taxi service from Tolsona Lake, just a short hop in a Beaver, Lee's Air Taxi - 907-822-3574, to bring yourself and your goods all in one flight.

The "Old" cabin has been there for a while and definitely needs some tweaking here and there.  But then as they say, 'an old cabin is better than the best tent'.  It is relatively easy to bring in building materials in the winter.

An apr. 3-hour drive from Anchorage on the Glenn Highway to Tolsona Lake and from there, well…. It would be the transportation you choose.
