An excellent area if you like to Fish and Hunt!
Yes, here you have excellent Moose hunting, plus there Caribou throughout the area and of course, it is a starting point to get into good Sheep country.
Access is limited to airplane from Tolsona Lake near Glennallen and or Anchorage and snowmobile. I know of a few people who make it in by Argo, which can be rather difficult as one has to cross the Nelchina River.
This property is just off the lake, surrounded on three sides by State land. A great feature when you head out by ATV.
There is a roadside "pullout" just before you cross the Nelchina River. From there you can go by snowmobile or by Argo/ATV if you are brave enough.
