About 20 some miles upstream from Skwentna (the confluence of the Yentna River and the Skwentna River) is where you will find this "Great" parcel on the north side of the river, tucked away behind some islands on a small slough.
The access by small river boat is okay most of the time, airboat works great and so does a wheel plane as there is a nice, apr. 600' gravel bar right there. At higher water I was told access was fine with any jet boat, but during hunting season when the water levels can drop as snow and frost comes down the mountain you may not get in there with your big jet sled.
There is a meadow area behind the cabin, which gives you a great place to hunt, as moose seem to browse through that area on their favorite food (willows).
You are in the midst of great Fishing for all 5 species of Salmon and Trout! You have the well known Kichatna and Johnson Rivers just below you and numerous smaller tributaries upstream which are great fishing holes.
For you bear hunters, it is a great place, as the bears always seem to come to their favorite food source "salmon" and with a boat you literally have 100's of miles to Fish – Hunt and Explore.
The unfinished cabin has just been newly framed and dried in. You can see the inside of the construction on the picture. The outside dimension is 12' x 20', so all the hard work is done. And with just a little bit of finish work it will be ready for a new owner. It is built on concrete footings, has a metal roof & door and a wood stove.
All of this and the large tract of land for only $49,900.-
