The access is a 4 wheeler trail from the parking lot off the Talkeetna Spur Road (see owner's directions and write up).

For snowmobilers, a little bit easier but not necessary always the case. But from there on up into the Bald Mountain area you will have some of the finest snowmobiling the State has to offer. Out of the tree and brush line, you literally can go for miles. You are up in the sheep country and where the caribou graze.
The cabin itself, nothing fancy, but warm and comfy and perfect for its intended purpose. Great place to have a steak and a brew after a day of hard riding, stay warm and swap stories with your buddies about the big moose or the grizzly you saw up high in the mountains, or maybe the large trout you caught on the way in.
