This property is off the Yentna River, about 3 miles upstream from Lake Creek and supports a nice Salmon run, from Kings (Lower Fish Creek) to Silvers and Reds, with that latter going all the way up to the headwaters of Fish Creek. There is also Pike, Grayling and an occasional Rainbow to be caught.
This, apr. half mile long lake would only be accessible by a Super Cub or Beaver type aircraft, snowmobile or possibly by a small, flat bottom boat with a jet on it or an air boat. There are some very shallow spots to go through (Rock Garden) and I have been through that section with a very skilled boat driver and was absolutely astonished at what he could do. All I can say, it could be an expensive learning curve to negotiate that stretch of water. Pulling / pushing may be the safer alternate while you are learning.
Float or ski plane is about a good half hour trip from Anchorage, a bit less from Willow. A snowmobile trip from Willow is about 2 hours, depending on your capability.
It is a cute, little cabin, apr. 20’x 24’ (to be verified the Swiss owner said) with a loft, wood stove, and a metal roof to keep you nice and dry. All in all, a good buy if one considers every stick to build the cabin had to be flown in.
The Price is $64,000.-
Although the seller prefers cash, he would finance the “Right” party with a minimum of 50% down payment and the balance to be negotiable.
