The wilderness setting you have always dreamed of. No neighbors you can see and totally surrounded by State land with a view so beautiful that it is hard to describe. Mt. If you are not afraid to live among the bears; brown or black, moose, wolves, wolverine or Lynx, then this might be the place for you.
For fishing, you have Lake Creek a couple miles to the west, which offers every species of salmon and fantastic rainbow or grayling fishing.
If you wonder how the owner gets to such a secluded place, well it is not easy. He built apr. a mile and a half long trail through state land to Quiet Lake. In the wintertime he goes in from the parking lot at Petersville Road and goes about 35 miles, more or less cross country to his property. This can be a nice and easy trip or quite challenging after a large snowfall. Keep in mind this area gets 4’to 6’ of snow on the ground.
It may not be every man’s idea to have a recreation cabin in a place like this, but for a tough, outdoors person who doesn’t mind to be challenged now and then, it doesn’t come any better.
