A beautiful large parcel with a great view of the Alaska Range, Mt. McKinley, Mt. Foraker, Yenlo Mt. etc. Make no mistake, this is “Remote” and hard to get to. Challenging at best for a good snowmobiler or boater, as one could get up the Kahiltna River with a good jet boat about 15 miles and then a good mile off the river to reach the property.
But it may be worth it as this area is known for a large bear population as well as trophy size moose, as few hunters will stray that far off the beaten path.
For snowmobilers, you may come in from Petersville along the Shulin Lake Trail and make it in that way. Unless you want to try to come up the Yentna – Kahiltna River and work your way up to the property that way.
The large tract consists mainly of slightly rolling terrain with many beautiful building sites amidst unspoiled wilderness. I fly over the area quite often and there are a few scattered cabins throughout the area and I always wonder how tough they have to be to get in there and start a building project.
It is only a couple of miles or so to World Famous fishing on Lake Creek. Here you definitely would be away from all the activities and people that fish the mouth of Lake Creek. All species of salmon are available.
But if you want to get away from it all and totally off the grid, it will be a rewarding experience.
The price is certainly right. So if you are young and energetic this just may be the right spot for you.
