Yes, you read right! You get this cabin absolutely for free. Yes, it is basic and needs some work and a little tweaking here and there, but if you consider building a new place at least you don’t have to spend the first month in a tent. As the old timers say: “Any ol’ cabin is better than the best tent”.
This location has a nice southerly exposure with some nice building sites, some spruce and native bushes, mainly cranberry and blueberry. This is truly a winter or summer playground for boaters or snowmobilers alike, as one can boat from Lake Louise all the way to the Tyone River and beyond, depending upon the size of the boat. For you snowmobilers there are literally hundreds of miles of maintained trails, from Lake Louise to Eureka, Susitna Lake, Crosswind Lake, Tolsona Lake and beyond.
It is here where you can find summer temperatures in the 80’s and may see an occasional 50 below in the winter, but then that is what Alaska is all about. Oh, don’t forget when it is that cold you may see a magnificent display of the Northern Lights.
You can own all this little Paradise for only $39,900.- but for that low price, and check around as it is by far the lowest price I have seen for a cabin and land, it must be cash.
