About 10 miles North of Hyder, a small fishing village at the northerly end of the Portland Canal, which forms the border between British Columbia and Alaska, is where you will find this old, "Historic", now fee simple mining property.
Surveys dating back to the 18th Century shows the location of the "Daly Creek Mine".
This property, close to the Canadian Border, has never seen much mining activity. It would lend itself for recreation mining or with some luck and hard work (more of the latter), you may just find the "Mother Lode".
This property would be accessible via the Alaska Marine Highway to Hyder and from there, I was told, there may be a rough road/ATV trail which still should be usable going to the property.
There are also trails showing coming in from the Canadian side off the Canadian Highway along Route 37A "Stewart – Hyder Access Road".
So, for those of you who have been looking for this tucked away, rare find, a large parcel – treed and on the "Famous" Salmon River, you may have just struck it rich! Be it for its Scenery, Tranquility, Fishing, Hunting, Boating/Rafting, you name it. Not easy to get to get to, but well worth the effort.
For more information about this "Historic" area, Google Hyder, Alaska or Steward, B.C.
This Property is fair priced for the land value and the gold you find,
well, God bless you it may just make you rich.
Offered for the low price of only $199,000.-
