A beautiful alpine setting and only a short flight from Talkeetna. Or if you are inclined you can get there by snowmobile, but it will take a little bit of doing and not recommended for the novice.
This area is known for great Moose hunting and one may even see the occasional Caribou wander through that area. For fishing, well the name says it all.
This area offers a great view of Mt. McKinley by looking westerly from the lake. So if you like to hike, berry pick etc. this rolling mountainous terrain lends itself perfectly, but just be a bit careful as you may meet up with "Smokey the Bear".
A small creek may provide hydro electric or running water.
A great place to build your recreation cabin and be totally off the grid. There are only about a handful of cabins on the whole lake and I would say most of them are only for the weekend warrior.
