Kirsch Sub. Block 1, Lot 3 - apr. 0.87 acres
15215 N Willow Station Road
A very nice, like new cabin with a loft just a short distance off the main highway on a gravel road, maintained year round.
Here you can live off the grid and or hook up to power, the choice is yours. There is a power pole right on the property and yes, you can have Internet hookup. The Hearthstone heater, cooking range, and refrigerator all run off an on-site 250 pound propane tank.
The 560’ square foot cabin is very nicely appointed (see pictures) and one can use it as a recreational cabin or possibly year round living. All one would have to do is hook up the power, drill a well and maybe install a septic system, as for right now, the “Ol” outhouse is it.
In addition, there is a nice garage/shop building of apr. 380’ square feet, which comes in handy to store all your “Stuff”.
Keep in mind, Willow is a charming community. It is here where the famous Iditarod Dog Race starts and many other recreation opportunities exist; where it is for Fishing, Hunting, Cross Country skiing, Dog Mushing or Hiking or Bicycling up Hatcher Pass.
If you are looking for an easy commute to recreation cabin (1½ hour from Anchorage) or a basic off the grid place to live and call your own, don’t overlook this cute place in a seclude, wooded setting.
The Price is certainly right for this charming getaway. Only $66,500.- Seller will consider owner financing with a minimum of half down.
This place can only be shown by appointment only on weekends.
But you certainly welcome to do a “drive by”.
Headed north on Parks Highway, a little ways past Mile 71, turn right on Willow-Fishhook Road (sign will say "to Hatcher Pass"). Go almost a mile down Willow-Fishhook Road until Willow Station Road is on the right (the Willow Trading Post has a big green sign on the corner). Turn right onto Willow Station Road and go about 3/10's of a mile. Driveway is on the left. There is a "No Trespassing" sign on the tree next to the driveway.
