One of the greatest, little fishing holes and not too far from Talkeetna by a floatplane. Only about a 15 minute flight will get you into total "Wilderness" with some great Rainbow – Grayling and Sockeye Salmon fishing.
Keep in mind, all the Red Salmon (Sockeye) that go up to Sockeye Lake migrate through this area. But then if you have hunting in your blood, there is some great bear hunting (Black and Brown) as they all feed on the salmon and of course, some big Moose came out of this area.
Best of all, the seller built a nice "Hunting – Fishing" cabin about 10 years ago with a metal roof and a very basic interior. But also keep in mind, the expense to build in the wilderness, as every stick and sheet of metal, window and door had to be flown in, either by helicopter or floatplane.
