A large parcel about 200' back from the river and elevated enough to keep your feet dry when the river floods. There is boat – snowmobile access and at lower water levels you may be able to land your Super Cub on the sandbar. About a 45-minute boat – snowmobile ride from the Deshka Landing near Willow.
There are little fresh water tributaries all along the river and that is where the Salmon fishing is usually the Best.
Of course, having no neighbors and surrounded by State Land helps when you want to go after the "Big" one, Bear or Moose.
The property is heavily treed, Birch and Spruce. But keep in mind we had a terrible spruce beetle infestation throughout that whole area that killed all the mature Spruce.
Well not all is lost, plenty of good firewood.
There are also talks of a road that may be built to the Rainy Pass area, but it is not a done project yet as I have not seen this state build a new road in 40 years. Heck, they can't fix the roads we have now!
