And you are next to the "Best" fishing hole on the river, apr. ½ mile.
On the east side you have the Kahiltna River, originating from the famous Kahiltna Glacier and the starting point for Mt. McKinley expeditions.
Your closest neighbor may very well be a Moose showing off her young in early May or a large Bull roaming area between the two rivers. Of course, the big Bears you will find along Lake Creek feeding on Salmon. (black & brown).
Access is by float or ski plane, about a 45-minute flight from Anchorage, or snowmobile access in the wintertime. Although not recommended for the novice.
Places like this, due to extreme rarity of no abutting neighbors, are at a premium, yet this price is not. And please do not think you could rebuild like this at today's lumber costs and transportation of flying everything in.
