What a nice place and so close in for a dog musher to practice his skills for the Iditarod, as this property is just a couple hundred yards to the side of the trail (that is when the Iditarod Race starts in Knik and not Willow).

If you are not a dog musher, this may be a good snowmobile destination along a nice trial from the locally known farm project just east of the Little Susitna River along a well defined trail to Flat Horn Lake and the property.

The lake is definitely Beaver or Super Cub size, on floats or skis and is apr. 3 miles north west of Flat Horn Lake.  Rumor has it there is some great moose hunting and if you be a water fowler; ducks and geese may just be on the menu for you.

This remote, off the grid location is only a 15 minute flight from Anchorage.  There is no road or ATV access.

The seller built a small hunting cabin on the property. It is only about 12’x12’, but it makes a nice shelter while you are there recreating or build your own large cabin and make this into a mother in law place.

This property slops towards the lake and has a very nice southern exposure overlooking this whole area.

Maybe a little hard to get to in the summer if you don’t fly, but in the wintertime it’s a quick and easy trip from the Little Susitna Landing area
